FROM THE HEAVENS TO THE EARTH
I WROTE ON THE 8TH OF JUNE OF THE YEAR 2008:
THE BEINGS OF LIGHT, THE ARCHANGELS AT CHRIST?S SERVICE, OF WHOM I AM THE SERVANT, HAVE BEGGED ME TO DIVULGE THIS MESSAGE.
BEFORE INVITING YOU TO READ THEIR STRONG ADMONISHMENT TOWARDS THE MEN OF THE EARTH, ABOVE ALL TO THE POWERFUL ONES, I DO BEG YOU TO READ ATTENTIVELY THE NEWS HERETO ATTACHED.
Fao Summit - outcome
Eight billions, but no agreement against hunger.
Worldwide there are almost 900 million human beings who are asking for more food but, after three days of summit, the FAO conference between heads of state and of government was unable to give meaningful answers. Disappointed also Frattini, the Italian Foreign Minister. The NGOs said that the words of the Roman meeting will not, unfortunately, be able to feed the hungry. Granted 8 billion dollars, but no one explained how these funds will be spent, as the summit got entangled between bio-fuels and global market.
The FAO summit ended without agreements. The final document in fact, does not have any solid plan of action, but only generic guidelines, and has been approved without the consent of the South Americans. The meeting gave the chance to delegates to bring up and flag myriads of national problems and expectations. The Americans got angry because Cuba mentioned the ?embargo? and because somebody challenged their bio-fuels policies. Around evening the conference had become a gigantic Babel where everyone had his or her say. The Europeans felt disputed and decided to meet up separately. The end of the summit left everyone unsatisfied.
Even harsher was the judgement of Antonio Onorati, representative of NGOs and small farmers. He said: ?Multinational companies want to colonize the UN agencies, have pushed to defend an agricultural model that favours their interests, while we found the doors shut and the summit ignored us completely?.

A rowdy Babel
If the world is what we have seen at the window of FAO, there is no room for optimism by looking to the future. The renown leaders arrived at the summit, had their say and disappeared again, leaving hundreds of Sherpas the task to discuss a document which could be titled: the future of humanity in the third millennium. How else can be defined three issues as climate change, energy and food?
There were too many irons in the fire and a planetary mess. Each delegation defended its own position, everybody built walls to protect among the others the production of ethanol and the shameful agricultural subsidies (Europe and the United States) that alter the market.
While the presidential cars headed towards the Roman airports, they left behind them a shattered world, rowdy and afflicted by problems without a foreseeable solution. No supranational authority would be able to handle such context, while a catastrophic crisis is rising above the horizon.

The FAO summit which ended yesterday in Rome did not give any substantial response to what Robert Zoellick, president of the World Bank, called the ?silent tsunami? of food prices. It responded with aphasia, indifference, division and a strong impotence. In the final report they are annexed countless protests, especially from South America. The summit ignored the available data, pretending not to know the figures that speak clearly: the hungry increase ever more, as the food and energy prices soar.
One need only to recall the oath of the FAO Summit in 1996: ?By 2015 the number of starving people will be halved?. They guaranteed this when at the time the hungry were 800 million. Just a year and half later, they became 863 million and, in the meantime, another 100 million added to the list, reaching almost one billion people.
The organisations like the UN, FAO, the World Bank are often accused to be responsible for their bureaucracy, however this happens because the countries do not recognise their own responsibility.
Today the Green Revolution of the 60s, which counterbalanced the famine in poor countries, is unthinkable because of the ossification of the minds of economists and western managers, unable to adapt to the changes of the world. The mechanical market rule is not enough to solve the crisis.
The most egoist behaviour is showed off by the Americans, as for a while they have insisted in the responsibilities of emerging countries, stating that it is the demand of China and India that make prices soar. At the same time, China and India would be allegedly responsible for the acceleration of the climatic catastrophe because of carbon dioxide emissions.
The wealthy westerners usually point the finger at the Chinese and the Indians who are eating more meat: an incorrect analysis that irritates deeply China and India, struggling to overcome indigence. Their frustration is understandable as they claim that over two centuries of industrial revolution the West has spoiled the planet and become obese, whereas now that it faces hardship it cannot negotiate its standard of living, almost trying to push the emerging ones back into misery. Moreover, they spend a lot of energy trying to correct other countries, doing almost nothing to correct themselves and protecting their untouchable lobbies.
Today the West is not faced with the challenge to drive the poor away from the soviet temptation, but to simply drive them away from hunger, and immediately. But unfortunately they are not able to do it, and are apathetic, voluntarily impotent and empty.

The announcement of the final declaration slipped away every half hour.
To write the final document, while Congo and Zambia pointed out that more than 900 million people starve and they could not just go on with a political game, Europe and USA intervened. At the end Argentina, backed up by Cuba, accused the capitalistic system that starves the world, accompanied by Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia and Ecuador.

After every summit the poor multiply
As explained by Luca Colombo, researcher at the Foundation for genetic rights, the passage between an idea and its application is not carried out by the FAO itself, but by a task force where among the others there are the monetary fund, the World Bank and the WTO. Moreover, the task force voting system is proportional to the world economy, so for example USA will be one thousand times more influential than Niger.
It is largely demonstrated that, in order to bring food to everybody, the only possibility is to have a widespread agriculture made by small farmers, ensuring a bio-diversity able to cultivate several products providing food also when some of them are missing. The opposite strategy, that is extensive monocultures, segregates the small production and makes peasants hungrier and hungrier. Large monocultures are subject to the financial speculation that generates a rise of the prices of wheat, rice and corn.

THE GREAT IMPOTENT ONES
The Fao summit has heard many good ideas, projects and financial promises, but unfortunately it has faced the complete lack of strategies, of common grounds for the powerful of the Earth who revealed their utter impotence. If on one hand it was foreseeable that everyone was after his or her interests, on the other there was no common language on basic definitions like GMO, bio-fuels and liberalisation.
Actually, it was unanimously recognised that the food crisis is only part of a global crisis made of several different issues, from the American financial crisis to the soaring oil prices. There is the need of a world governance, even though there is no hint of an institution that could stop speculation and drive countries and markets to a more virtuous and upright behaviour.
It is rather difficult to pinpoint the good and the bad in this story. For example, if on one side Europe is protectionist about its strategic agricultural production for a valid reason, it is righteously accused of a false liberalism and protectionism. It is true that the therapies of international credit institutions have devastated agriculture (see for example Haiti), depriving the population of the possibility of subsistence, but this does not always happen. It is true that multinational corporations, through GMOs, have got hold of the agricultural production, that has been selected, defended and handed by farmers for millennia (as Giacomo Santoleri reminded). However in Argentina and China, where farmers managed to make hybrid transgenic soybean, theoretically sterile, today they obtained a crop that requires less work and less pesticides than the traditional one.

DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE IT!
A SIGN THAT WILL BOOST THE BEGINNING OF A SERIES OF NATURAL DISASTERS THAT WILL BEND AND FORCE YOU, LIKE IT OR NOT, TO BEAT YOUR FIST ON THE BREAST AND SAY ?MY FAULT, MY UTTER FAULT?. BUT IT WILL BE TOO LATE, FOR THE FORCES OF NATURE, AIR, WATER, EARTH AND FIRE WILL STRIKE AS YOUR HISTORY HAS NEVER SEEN BEFORE.
THIS WILL HAPPEN, ESPECIALLY, TO DEMOLISH THE GREAT TOWERS OF BABEL OF THE RICH COUNTRIES THAT HAVE SPECULATED ON THE BACKS OF THE POOR ONES.
WE FEEL DISGUST FOR YOUR SOULS AND YOUR SPIRITS.
WE DO NOT HATE YOU, WE CANNOT HATE. PLEASE FORGIVE US, BUT WE DETEST YOU, YOU ARE A CIVILIZATION THAT HORRIFIES US. YOU ARE MONSTERS!
DURING A CONFERENCE WHERE YOU SHOULD HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM OF BILLIONS OF YOUR BROTHERS WHO STARVE TO DEATH, WE SAW AND HEARD THE CYNICISM, INDIFFERENCE, HYPOCRISY, DECEIT OF THE HEADS OF STATES OF THE WORLD WHO DISPUTE BETWEEN THEM TO ARROGANTLY ASSERT THEIR RIGHTS, BASED ON DOMINION, POWER, TRADE AND NOT ON SELFLESSNESS.
YOU HAVE MANAGED EVEN TO ADMIT THAT THE FAO SUMMIT WAS A FAILURE WITH THE STATEMENTS OF A FEW OF YOUR MINISTERS, WHILE WE NOTICED THE ABSENCE OF THE SUPREME HEAD OF THE ROMAN APOSTOLIC CATHOLIC CHURCH, EVEN IF REPRESENTED BY HIS SECRETARY OF STATE, AS WELL AS THE INAPPROPRIATENESS OF THE FAO CHAIRMAN, THE HYPOCRISY OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE ITALIAN GOVERNMENT AND THE ABSURD PRETENSIONS OF THE RICH COUNTRIES. WE ALSO NOTICED THE PRESENCE OF DICTATORS OF POOR COUNTRIES, WHERE 90 PERCENT OF THEIR POPULATION IS STARVING TO DEATH.
FROM THIS SUMMIT FOCUSING ON HUNGER, A PROBLEM THAT HAS AFFECTED YOU FOR CENTURIES, WE CAN JUDGE AND DETERMINE OF WHAT NATURE YOUR CIVILIZATION IS.
A CIVILIZATION DESTINED TO SELF-DESTRUCTION AND ANNIHILATION.
A CIVILIZATION OF WHICH, AS ALREADY SAID BY THE ALMIGHTY FATHER ADONAY, SHOULD NOT EVEN REMAIN MEMORY!
IT IS INDEED TRUE, CERTAIN, REAL THAT THE JUST ONES, THE PEACEFUL, THE PURE OF HEART, THE LOVERS OF JUSTICE AND LOVE, AND ESPECIALLY ALL THOSE MILLIONS OF CHILDREN THAT YOU HAVE WIPED OUT WITH HUNGER WILL BE ENTITLED TO REPOPULATE THE NEW ERA.
CERTAINLY, NOT ALL THOSE WHO ARE FOLLOWERS OF THAT ARRAY OF MARAUDERS OF SATAN, COWARDS, MURDERERS AND CRIMINALS WHO PARTICIPATED AT THE FAO SUMMIT!
THEY WILL NOT BE THERE!
THE SECOND DEATH WILL BE THEIR REWARD. BE SURE OF IT!
