BENEDICT XVI: ?SELFISHNESS, VANITY, PRIDE, MONEY OBSESSION.
THE EVIL IS INSIDE THE CHURCH?

OUR SOLIDARITY, ALBEIT PARTIAL, TO POPE BENEDICT XVI.
PLEASE READ THE ATTACHED ARTICLE, WHICH JUSTIFIES OUR SATISFACTION FOR THE RECENT, DRAMATIC STATEMENTS OF BENEDICT XVI.
WE ARE AWAITING THE PONTIFF TO PERSEVERE WITH THE COURAGE THAT IN THIS MOMENT PERVADES HIS SPIRIT, WITH THE HOPE, IN HIS NEXT HOMILY, TO LISTEN TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE RETURN OF CHRIST ON EARTH, THE JUDGEMENT AND THE CALL TO REPENTANCE FOR ALL, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FATE OF THE WORLD, THE POWERFUL ONES THAT ORGANIZE WARS.
HOPE IS THE LAST TO DIE AND EVEN THOUGH WE CONTINUE TO HAVE MANY RESERVATIONS ABOUT THE WICKED CONDUCT OF THE VATICAN, WE OUGHT TO PRAISE THE ADMIRABLE COURAGE OF POPE BENEDICT XVI.

POPE: STILL TODAY GOD FREES THE CHURCH FROM EVIL POWER

"One of the typical effects of the Evil One is the division within the ecclesial community", Pope Benedict XVI has said. "In the fight against the spirit of evil, God has given us Jesus as the advocate defender, and after his Passion, another Paraclete, the Holy Spirit, who remains with us forever and leads the Church into the fullness of truth."
The Pope was speaking at the Mass for the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul on June 29. In a packed St. Peter's Basilica, and the presence of a delegation from the Patriarchate of Constantinople, the Pope conferred the sacred pallium on 38 new metropolitan archbishops, reminding them that "communion with Peter and his successors is the guarantee of freedom for the pastors of the Church and for the same Communities entrusted to them". Looking at the past, Benedict XVI recalled that periods of testing have never been lacking for Christians, and have often taken the character of real persecution. But these, he acknowledged, "despite the suffering they cause, are not the greatest danger for the Church." "The greatest damage it suffers comes from the pollution of faith and Christian life of its members and its communities, affecting the integrity of the mystical Body, weakening its prophetic capacity and its testimony, tarnishing the beauty of its face." But Pope Benedict said that despite egoism, vanity, pride, and attachment to money, that "the powers of hell shall not prevail."
"There is a guarantee of freedom offered by God to the Church," he concluded, "freedom both from the material bondage that seeks to prevent or subvert its mission, and from the spiritual and moral ills that can affect its autenticity and credibility."
