After the cases of paedophilia in the Church, another scandal has shaken the Vatican. The National Catholic Reporter is in possession of documents (not denied by the authorities of the Church) which would prove that some priests have raped a few nuns and in certain cases got them pregnant. Sisters who were then forced to have abortions. Yesterday, the Roman Catholic Church admitted to be aware of sexual abuses and violence against nuns by priests in at least 23 countries. Most sexual abuses, according to the Vatican, took place in African countries, in which celibate priests have quit the services of prostitutes fear contracting AIDS and so they started to rape nuns.

I WOULD LIKE TO REMIND YOU THAT IT IS HARD TO GET FORGIVENESS FROM CHRIST FOR THIS SIN, ESPECIALLY FOR THE CLERICAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE BETRAYED. ALSO WHO KEEPS QUIET AND EVEN PROTECTS THE PERPETRATORS OF THESE TERRIBLE CRIMES IS TO BE CONSIDERED GUILTY AS MUCH AS THOSE, IF NOT EVEN MORE, WHO HAVE COMMITTED THEM.

The church that through the ages taught me and other children right from wrong did not know right from wrong when it came to children. Crimes were swept under the rectory rug, and molesters were protected to molest again for the ?good of the universal church.? And that is bad, very bad ? a mortal sin.
