YOU DO NOT LOVE LIFE

YOU ARE CRUEL AND DESPISE LIFE!
MANY AND MANY TIMES WE HAVE REBUKED YOU IN MANY WAYS AND MANY FORMS ON THE DIABOLIC USE OF NUCLEAR ENERGY. NOW THAT YOU HAVE DESTROYED AND POLLUTED ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACES ON PLANET EARTH (SARDINIAN SEA), YOU TRY TO FIX IT. THIS WILL BE USELESS AND HARMFUL.
WE REMIND YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL, THAT WE ARE ABLE TO DECONTAMINATE AND PURIFY PLANET EARTH, MAKING IT AN EDEN GARDEN AGAIN. A PARADISE. YET THIS NEW WORLD, AN OASIS OF BEAUTY IN THE INFINITE MACROCOSM, WILL BE GIVEN ONLY TO THE GOOD, THE RIGHTEOUS, THE CHILDREN, THE OLD WISE ONES AND TO THOSE WHO LOVE LIFE. IT WILL BE TAKEN AWAY FROM THE CRUEL PEOPLE, THE WARMONGERS, THE MATERIALISTS AND THE MURDERERS OF LIFE. THE PRINCE OF JUSTICE AND KING OF LOVE, JESUS CHRIST, WILL OPEN TO THEM THE DOOR OF SECOND DEATH, THERE, THERE SHALL BE WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH!
PEACE!

?LA MADDALENA
Nuclear decontamination that terrifies people

The prosecutor ordered the confiscation of the seabed.
A witness denounces: they wanted me to dump waste where it was forbidden.
By Alessandro Ferrucci, correspondent from La Maddalena

Clear sea, white sands, windy corners, bright sunshine, even when many in the Peninsula take the umbrella out. It would be a paradise. For many it is no more. "Here, in La Maddalena, there is a serious risk, that could have even caused a genocide", says Claudia Zuncheddu, director of the Sardinian regional ?indipendentistas? group. She says it and does not think to exaggerate: she is a doctor, working in politics and has been denouncing for years the many harassments perpetrated on the island and its inhabitants. From the area where there is the Quirras' shooting range: here 65% of shepherds suffer from leukaemia, here piglets are born without eyes or ears, lambs with two heads. Also, there is the area near Cagliari, with the Saras refinery: "There, every family is affected by cancer, they all have one or more dead to mourn - continues Zuncheddu. So on, every corner of Sardinia has its cause of serious pollution. "Up in the north-east, until 26th January 2008, when, after 35 years, the stars and stripes flag, in La Maddalena, was lowered: Americans left the atomic base. Warning: a-to-mi-c. It means thousands of tonnes of waste to be removed, then money, skilled workers, storage places and time. Especially time.
It is a pity that there is no time, the place has been chosen to host the G8 summit of 2009, a key window for the international revival of the Italian Government. Silvio Berlusconi was overjoyed, he talked about the recovery of the area, employment, tourism, and all the usual repertory.

62 000 tonnes, Bertolaso will take care of it

Premier calls into question Mr. Bertolaso and Civil Protection: there is their need to achieve the target in the specified date. We need a decision-making power, few restrictions, state secret. On the website they stated: 62.000 tonnes of waste removed, 21% of which classified hazardous. Translated: 49.000 non-hazardous and 13.000 hazardous. Time for reclamation: 45 days in total, between July and August, when there is the maximum tourist invasion of the area, employing over two thousand trucks and three ships.
Money invested: 23 million euro. "Something does not seem right - says the Zuncheddu-. What? Industrial waste should have been shipped to the mainland, but no one had seen any ship leaving, there was no plan for navigation. Many people have noticed the night traffic by sea from the archipelago in Porto Torres, home of two landfills, and from Olbia by trucks, but nothing more than this. Everything stopped there. The problem is where, in what place did they dump the waste and how? We are talking about highly hazardous waste: the installation was atomic." Then, asbestos, hydrocarbons and heavy metals. And yet the story is shrouded by mystery, institutional people questioned do not answer any requests.
"It has been a year I've been looking for answers, I have always failed - the Regional Councillor continues -. And as me, other people who are interested in the incident, people who have 'sniffed' the air, that wanted and want to know what is going on. " Someone would call it "civil society". So here is a doctor from Alghero, Paola Correddu, a former vice-mayor from Porto Torres, Giancarlo Pinna, out of politics for nearly three decades, the manager of a small independent union, Angelo Marras, a lawyer from Sassari, Luigi Azena and another one from Cagliari, Renato Margelli. Together they legally follow the story. Together they put themselves into it, they have decided not to stand by the window. Correddu said ? ?we also tried a blitz with Claudia (Zuncheddu): We went to the Canaglia landfill, where we fear they have dumped most of the tons.
What happened? Someone must have made a tip-off, because in the same time the police came to us and prevented us from getting in. But at some point one of the managers, because of our questions, contradicted himself and almost admitted the presence of the waste. If they think that there is an underground water stream very important for the island. "Below there is a reserve of one billion cubic meters of water, classified by the Italian government as a strategic point in case of natural disaster. "But they do not care about anything - Marras confirmed ? they have focused on the hunger of people, on the unemployment to make a disaster. We know it, we have the evidence of it. "A repentant wants to say: with the assurance of anonymity, the representatives of the ?Sindacadu se sa Natzione Sarda", they interviewed one of the eighty drivers involved in the disposal and transport. In the video, he admitted, ?We loaded any type of material and dumped it to the Canaglia and Scala Erre landfill sites. Who were I hired by? By Serfat of Enrico Piras. This last one is the president of the provincial council of Sassari, man with a long political experience.

70 thousand cubic meters dredged in 14 months
"The institutions have never responded to our questions, formal and informal ones-Zuncheddu smiles - just those from Sassari-Olbia provided us with data. The numbers came from them - Correddu confirms ? and they alarm us more: they speak of 40.000 tonnes in total. 20% of these, are classified as hazardous. In short, different figures than those of the Civil Protection. Why? Who is telling the truth? And it is not over yet: there is also the question of the reclamation of the seabed. "
In this case we speak of a marine area of approximately 17 hectares for a budget of 70,000 cubic meters of dredged sediments between October 2008 and May 2009. Here, too, doubts, complaints, reports, enquires starting from those of Fabrizio Gatti for Espresso. Until yesterday, when the prosecutor of Tempio has ordered the seizure of evidence of the depths in front of the former Naval Arsenal of La Maddalena.
"The problem is one: the story is so great that I fear, we will not have a guilty so easily - Giancarlo Pinna admits with few words -. This region is tortured by cancer and unemployment. Think, on twenty thousand inhabitants in Porto Torres, five thousand of them are unemployed. And Yet we would have all we need to be well: sun, wind, sea, resources, culture and opportunities for developing tourism. "Instead, it is one of the most polluted and anguished areas of Europe?.
The areas most at risk: in the north-east, the archipelago of La Maddalena; in a more southern area the Quirra shooting range; southbound Cagliari and Saras, in the north-west the region of Sassari.
