WONDERS IN THE GALILEE OF THE GENTILES

Piazza Armerina is a city located in the center of Sicily, rich and famous for its history, its millenaire art and culture.
Maybe it was not a coincidence that it was visited by us on 18th May 2014 during a conference with Giorgio Bongiovanni, attended, I remember, by people coming from every province of Sicily and also even from Calabria.
We enjoyed also the presence of the Vice Mayor Giuseppe Mattia and of the precious collaboration of dr. Raffaella Motta that along with us, successfully fulfilled the role of lecturer.
I do not know if it is a coincidence, but several months later thanks to Raffaella we found out about an event which we can not categorize as prodigious: in the humble home of equally humble and simple people, Giuseppe and Crocifissa Cosenza, a little statue of about half a meter of the Virgin of Lourdes began to exude "blood" and any "material of blood color" besides "liquid substance", transparent and oily.
We can image then how remarkable was the comings and goings of the faithful and especially of people in general, in fact the church authorities started to be seriously interested in this case and created a commission of inquiry for that purpose. Besides the special relationship, that the suffering Crocifissa lives with our Lady through the statue and the rumors of healing miracles supported by testimonies, caused devotion, prayers and as Motta explained us, even a comprehension of the supposed Marian suffering.
The events continue constantly over time until1th May when a local family with her 4 year old girl went to the house of the Cosenzas and unexpectelly the child, Marisol, this is her name, began as to be ravished by the vision of the little statue making even denote movements and typical attitudes that we well know since we have described them in ecstatic conditions of many seers ... "I saw our Lady that told me that She loved me, She changed colours in Her suit and had a crown on Her head," she said smiling, and with the spontaneity that only children are able to get.
Increasing in such way a phenomenon that we have always been used to define in jargon of Marian aspect, but that according my modest opinion it may be also of authentic spirituality and sincere repentance for many ...
We are going to go there and have the opportunity to see and understand much more, in order to transmit it always and only because it may be a motive for the acquisition of a greater awareness of the times we are living.
