STATUE OF OUR LADY WEEPS TEARS IN CAMPANIA
Yesterday I and Vincenzo went to Macerata Campania to see the statue of the Virgin Mary that wept tears. We reached the church at 11:11 a.m. after the liturgy of the Mass and we asked a sister if we could see the statue. She told us to go to the sacristy and ask directly to the priest. We were not even entered to ask about it because the priests were more than one. One of them was taking off his tunic in a little room when he told us to get closer.
There was the statue of Our Lady, the feeling was of absolute serenity, you did not feel even to speak, but only to reflect and observe.
Meantime, while we were there looking at Her, another priest entered the room, he pointed at the right eye of the statue, under which he asserted to see the path of the tears that were flowing her face.
We asked him if we could photograph Her and to our surprise he said we could. While Vincenzo was photographing Her I felt a thrill, because Her eyes seemed real, even Vincenzo had the same feeling. We asked if She had wept other times as well as the one described by the newspaper Il Mattino di Caserta and he said She had, last time was on Friday, October 23th , right there where She was placed while we were there, there were also the police. He said they were investigating the case. He told us that the tears were as transparent as the color of the water.
We asked if we could go back to see Her again and he told us that in his presence there was no problem. We could go everytime we wanted.
