Oristano, the monk who studies the aliens: the comet was a ufo
From Pope John XXIII to the Star of Bethlehem. The book of the Franciscan Father Marco Ardu
By Roberto Pretetto

ORISTANO. Father  Marco Ardu is a friar with a so long experience that he can state his own  certainty without fear : ?The extraterrestrials exist?... The Franciscan monk is not a Fox Mulder in chasing X-Files, but a religious now retired who has been living in Oristano for three years after having travelled around  Sardinia for 47 years between Cagliari and Sassari to raise money to help his confreres who worked in missions around the world. His belief about the existence of extraterrestrials is not expressed only by words, but also by writing: "The Christmas Star" is the title (apparently innocuos and anonymous) of a small book, published by Epdo, written by Father Marco Ardu himself.
The surprise begins to be revealed in the subtitle: "Which Star?". The "Star" to which Father Marco Ardu refers in his book is the one that, for the Christian iconography, guided the Magi to the cave where the child Jesus was. What  was actually that luminous entity? Not a comet, as the tradition dictates, but perhaps a UFO ...
The Church itself would be convinced of this. In the preface Professor Antonio Murziani cites a fact that would have happened in 1961 to the pontiff of that time Pope John XXIII: "Pope Roncalli, walking in the gardens of Castelgandolfo, along with his secretary Monsignor Capovilla, was approached by an alien being, similar to us terrestrials, who got out from a spaceship along with others extremely nearby. According to the journalists of that period, Pope John came to that being and spoke with him. After the meeting he said to Monsignor Capovilla: "The children of God are everywhere, even if, sometimes, we have difficulty on recognizing our brothers." Words  never  denied by Monsignor Capovilla, now cardinal"...
